Metex Building Products was a dream turned into reality in May 2020, We started Metex to provide high-quality products at more affordable prices to ensure our clients can make stone and other exterior options a reality in all the projects they dream up! We are a family-run business started by two women who have combined experience of 21 years in the construction and customer service industry.

Alex
CEO | Founder | Masonry Expert
With over 17 years of experience in the masonry and exterior construction industry, Alex Redekopp is the Founder and CEO of Metex Building Products. Throughout her career, she has worked hands-on installing brick, stone veneer, siding, and stucco systems, while also owning and operating an exterior construction company in Regina.
In 2020, Alex shifted gears and embraced a new challenge by founding Metex Building Products. Drawing on years of field experience, she set out to create a supplier that offers not only quality building materials but also knowledgeable service and trusted advice. Her goal has always been to bridge the gap between the jobsite and the showroom, helping contractors, builders, designers, and homeowners make informed decisions with confidence.She believes that quality materials, expert advice, and exceptional customer service are the foundation of every successful project, and is passionate about building lasting relationships with customers and industry partners alike.
When she’s not at Metex, Alex’s greatest role is being a mom to four active children. Family life keeps her busy year-round, whether she’s at the baseball diamond in the summer or cheering from the sidelines during hockey and other winter sports. She also enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time outdoors, believing that the best spaces—whether inside a home or outside in nature—are the ones that bring people together.
Brandi
Founder | Sales
Brandi comes to Metex with 10 years in the construction and building industry. Her true passion is people – helping people create spaces that they will be excited to spend time in, designing spaces and picking finishes that are sure to turn heads in any project.
She has worked with many clients to create beautiful spaces on both residential and commercial levels.
Outside of Metex, Brandi enjoys spending time with her two dogs and her boyfriend travelling and adventuring around Saskatchewan, and hitting up all the golf courses they can find along the way.
After 10 years in construction, she is expanding her knowledge by joining the Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) Board as secretary and sitting on the board for the Future Construction Leaders with the Regina Construction Association (RCA).

With over a decade of experience in sales, customer service, and building lasting client relationships, I am passionate about helping people bring their projects to life.
After spending 10 years in the appliance industry, including several years as a Sales Manager, I transitioned into the building supply industry, where I continue to combine product knowledge with a customer-first approach. Whether you’re planning a renovation, building your dream home, or tackling a commercial project, my goal is to make the process simple, enjoyable, and stress-free.
I believe every project is unique, and every customer deserves personalized service. I take pride in listening to your needs, offering honest advice, and helping you find the right products and solutions for your budget and vision.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mom, dog lover, and someone who enjoys spending time outdoors with family. Those experiences have taught me the importance of trust, communication, and building genuine relationships—values I bring into every interaction with my clients.
